How ErtanWorks Games ("we", "us") handles personal information across our games and the wendgames.ertanworks.com website. Plain language, no dark patterns.

1. Scope

This policy covers the wendgames.ertanworks.com website and all games we publish under the ErtanWorks Games label, including Letter Forge, Bankr, and Delivery Empire. ErtanWorks Games is the games arm of ErtanWorks.

2. The short version

• Our games run locally on your device. They don't phone home with your gameplay.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
• We don't run our own analytics, trackers, or social-media pixels.
• Our free mobile games (Letter Forge, Delivery Empire) show ads through Google AdMob. None of our games have in-app purchases.
• Settings (language, best score, total score, coin balance) are stored locally on your device only.
• If you contact us by email, we keep that email so we can reply.

3. What we collect

Letter Forge (iOS and Android)

Letter Forge plays entirely on your device. It does not transmit your gameplay, save data, or personal information to ErtanWorks or any third party. The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:

• Selected interface language
• Best score, lifetime total score, and best word
• Lifetime words found and games played
• Current coin balance
• In-progress game state (board, hand, score) so you can resume after closing the app
• Settings (sound, haptic, dark mode, music track, music auto-rotate)
• Tutorial-seen flag

This data is written to the operating system's standard application-data location for the app, and is removed when you uninstall. Letter Forge does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

A single banner ad is shown at the bottom of the play screen, served by Google AdMob. AdMob reads the device's advertising identifier (Apple's IDFA, Android's GAID) to choose what to show. We do not receive that identifier — Google does, and acts as the data controller for ad-targeting purposes under its own advertising privacy policy and general privacy policy. On iOS the OS shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt before AdMob can use the identifier for cross-app personalization; decline and you'll see less-personalized ads but the game is unchanged. On Android you can reset or opt out under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Optional: push notifications

If you accept the notification permission prompt that iOS and Android 13+ show on first launch, Letter Forge registers with Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to receive a device token. We use that token to send occasional re-engagement notifications (for example, when a new feature ships). The token is processed by our Firebase project letter-forge-21825; Google acts as a data processor under its own privacy policy, and Apple acts as a data processor for the APNs delivery hop under its own privacy policy. We do not link the token to any personal information. You can decline the permission at the prompt, or revoke it later in your OS settings — the game works fully without it.

Delivery Empire (iOS and Android)

Delivery Empire is a single-player tycoon simulation that runs entirely on your device. It does not transmit your gameplay, save data, or personal information to ErtanWorks or any third party. The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:

• Selected interface language
• Your company save: cash balance, fleet, contracts, depots, staff, and reputation
• Game progress (current week, business statistics, milestones reached)
• Settings (sound, haptics, game speed)
• Tutorial-seen flag

This data is written to the operating system's standard application-data location for the app, and is removed when you uninstall. Delivery Empire does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Delivery Empire is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the play screen, an occasional full-screen interstitial shown between weekly business summaries, and an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch (for example, to recover from bankruptcy). The rewarded ad is always optional — declining it never blocks play. AdMob reads the device's advertising identifier (Apple's IDFA, Android's GAID) to choose what to show. We do not receive that identifier — Google does, and acts as the data controller for ad-targeting purposes under its own advertising privacy policy and general privacy policy. On iOS the OS shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt before AdMob can use the identifier for cross-app personalization; decline and you'll see less-personalized ads but the game is unchanged. Delivery Empire does not use push notifications.

Website (wendgames.ertanworks.com)

The website is static. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, request URL, user agent, timestamp) for a short retention window for security and abuse-prevention. We do not embed third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels.

Store purchases

When you install an ErtanWorks Games app through a storefront (Apple App Store, Google Play, etc.), that storefront handles distribution, payment, and account management. ErtanWorks Games receives only aggregated and anonymized install/sales reports. We do not receive your name, address, or payment information. Each storefront has its own privacy policy that governs your account there.

Email correspondence

If you email us (e.g. [email protected]), we retain the email and our reply so we can support you and reference past discussions. We do not add your address to a marketing list.

4. What we do not collect

• We do not operate our own advertising network; our ad-supported games use Google AdMob (see Advertising above).
• We do not run cross-site or cross-app tracking of our own.
• We do not run third-party analytics in our games or on this website.
• Our games do not collect telemetry from your device.
• We never receive your device's advertising identifier ourselves — in our ad-supported games AdMob reads it; we do not.

5. Cookies

The website does not set any cookies for tracking or advertising. Our games do not use web cookies.

6. Children

Letter Forge is rated for general audiences and is suitable for users of all ages, including children. It collects no personal information and contains no ads, in-app purchases, social features, or external links. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, please contact us and we will remove it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (for example, GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA/CPRA in California) — including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to certain processing.

Because we hold very little personal information (essentially, email correspondence and standard server logs), most requests are straightforward. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond.

8. Data retention

Server logs are retained for a short window (typically 30 days) before being rotated out. Email correspondence is retained until you ask us to delete it or until it is no longer relevant to support or business purposes.

9. International transfers

ErtanWorks operates internationally. Email and hosting infrastructure may be located in jurisdictions other than your own. By contacting us or visiting the website, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but our exposure is small precisely because we collect little.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our games evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively make this policy more permissive of data collection without telling you.
