Letter Forge is a single-player word puzzle. Gameplay runs entirely on your device. We do not run a server for gameplay, we do not have user accounts, we do not embed analytics or social-media trackers, and we do not sell user data. The game is free and contains no in-app purchases.
Two pieces of the app touch the network:
Details below.
Letter Forge stores the following entirely on your device, in the operating system's standard app-data location. None of it is transmitted to ErtanWorks or any third party. Uninstalling the app removes it all.
Letter Forge does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos. It reads the device's advertising identifier (for ad personalization, see § 4) and may request the system notification permission (optional, see § 5).
A single banner ad is shown at the bottom of the play screen, served by Google AdMob. AdMob reads the device's advertising identifier (Apple's IDFA, Android's GAID) to choose what to show. We do not receive that identifier — Google does, and acts as the data controller for ad-targeting purposes under its own advertising privacy policy and general privacy policy.
On iOS the system shows the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before AdMob can use the identifier for cross-app personalization; decline and you'll see less-personalized ads but the game is unchanged. On Android you can reset or opt out of personalized advertising under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
We do not run a separate analytics SDK, social-media pixel, or attribution tracker beyond what AdMob inherently uses for ad delivery.
On first launch, iOS and Android 13+ show a system prompt asking whether the app may send notifications. If you accept, Letter Forge registers with the platform push services to receive a device token:
We use that anonymous token to send occasional re-engagement messages
— for example, when a new feature ships, or when you haven't played
in a while. The token is processed by our Firebase project
letter-forge-21825. Google acts as a data processor under
its own
privacy policy;
Apple acts as a data processor for the APNs delivery hop under its
own
privacy policy.
We do not link the token to any personal information — we don't have any to link. If you decline the permission at the prompt, or revoke it later under Settings → Notifications → Letter Forge, the game continues to work fully.
Letter Forge does not collect personal data, behavioural data, or gameplay analytics. We do not embed advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social-network pixels, or crash reporters that transmit identifying information. We have no servers that receive gameplay events. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties, because there is no data to sell, rent, or share.
Letter Forge is rated for general audiences (PEGI 3 / Everyone). It contains no chat, no user-generated content, no advertising, and no in-app purchases. Because the app collects no personal data, no special handling is required under COPPA, GDPR-K, or similar children-focused privacy regimes. Parents and guardians who want to block the optional push notifications can simply decline the permission prompt.
Letter Forge is free and contains no in-app purchases. The Apple App Store and Google Play handle distribution under their own privacy policies. ErtanWorks Games receives only aggregated, anonymized install statistics from those storefronts. We do not receive purchaser identity, email, billing details, or device identifiers.

If this policy materially changes, we will update the date above and — for changes that affect data collection — call out the change at the top of this page for a reasonable transition window. Continued use of the app after a policy change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
